I was cracking up today with these two. I call this: whoever is strongest get's to try to eat the other person's arm... until they get growled at.

Life in video
I clearly haven't done a great job of posting recently, but here are some videos of the kids being cute/rowdy lately
The kids usually get to help me wash bottles in the morning. This morning they were extra rowdy while helping!

4 monthers
I started this post when the kiddos were just at 4 months.... That was two weeks ago. Maybe at some point I'll do a quick update, but for right now, here are some pictures of what we have been up to.

Over 3 months old! Where did time go?
The kids continue to keep us very busy and on our toes. I have lots of pictures below, but here are a few things we have been up to:
- Eye exams and a Doctors appointment-- we invited grandma to stay for a night later that week because we were anticipating it not going well
- Maggie has started to throw up. A. LOT. We are doing at least a load of laundry a day just because she gets everything dirty. I took her in to the doctor and we decided to stop fortifying their milk to see if that helps. It didn't. The kids are still gaining weight, which means we don't have to go back on it. I think they are much less gassy off of the Neosure. At her appointment, the doctor said as long as she is still happy and gaining weight, we should't worry. Mom says she is just like her uncle Craig.... uh oh. At least we know not to send her into the garage to clean up the mess the dog made. Maybe she will grow out of her weak stomach :)
- Sleep at night is generally getting better. Typically we get at least one 4 hour chunk at night. After that sometimes we get another 4 hour chunk and sometimes Fin thinks that he needs to be held for the rest of the night. He keeps us on our toes!
- Eating, eating, eating. The kids are now eating between 20-25oz a day! Needless to say, they have caught up with how much I am getting. I have started to pull a couple bags out of the freezer to keep up. I have about a month's stash if I stopped cold turkey, so we should be able to hold them off formula for a while yet
- Wetting through cloth diapers. When they get a good stretch at night, we were getting to the point where the newborn diapers were full! I went to the local diaper store in town and they recommended putting an extra bit of cloth in there for added absorbency. So far, that has done the trick! We have started looking at different types of the next size of diapers, so we can decide what we want to use. With the cloth trick at night, I think we will buy ourselves some time to figure it out.
- The nanny search. Ugh. This has been much more dramatic than it needed to be, but I think we found the candidate we want. We are hoping to make an offer later today. The plan is to go back to work October 31. I am going to do a gradual return at 3 days per week. I have the option to do this for 8 weeks, which would get me through the holidays. I need to spend more time talking to my boss about it, but I'm thinking that will be a great way to transition back to the real world (and hopefully time to get the kids sleeping a little more consistently)

Whew!
What a blur it has been since we got home! We have had plenty of visitors, and the kids are getting better at giving their parents more sleep :) I love lists, so here is a list version of what we have been up to:
- Lori and fam came to visit. Mom and Dad were here at the same time and they got a ton of things done for us including picking all our apples. Thanks to mom (and Craig + kiddos) for making apple juice with our abundance of red delicious apples!
- Uncle Paul came to visit with Grandma. He got loads of baby cuddling in, but stayed away from diaper changes :)
- Becky and fam came to visit with all of their rowdiness! We got some cute pictures of twins holding twins. It will be fun to watch them grow up together
- John had his first work trip. It was three days and Grandma Kleve came down to help us out. We loved having her and I don't know what I would do without her help!
- During that time, Mel and Wendy came to visit with Devin. Devin was confused by all the noise coming from my two littles and really just chilled the whole time. She reminds me of how small these babies are!
- Corey and the girls also came when Mel and Wendy were here. Lexi and Leah could have held babies all day. They were in heaven.
- Grandma Crossett came to stay a week and help us out. It is so great to have an extra set of hand and some delicious food.
- While Linda was here, her cousins, who live in town, came to meet the kids. The babies loved the cuddling and family time
- Our friends have been amazing! They have organized food to be delivered 2 times each week and have been great at helping with baby holding when we needed it. I'm so happy to have such a fantastic group of friends here!
-Both kids continue to grow! Maggie is 7 lbs 0.5 oz and Fin is 7 lbs 14 oz. They seem so big to us, but I realize they are just normal baby size now :)
Here are a whole lot of pictures from the past couple of weeks!
