Today I only had one class, which was amazing! I got up early and walked to class to get a bit of exercise in for the day. I was a bit early for class so I went to the library and checked out Management for Engineers for my class. I figure it will be a good read on the way to Stonehenge tomorrow! After class I went to the bookstore and bought the appendices I needed for a different class. I shouldn’t have to actually buy any books this semester which is amazing. Students don’t normally buy books here. Usually the library has at least 10 copies of the suggested reading and you can go check them out. I figure if I get a head start on it then I shouldn’t have any problems checking them out!
When I got back from campus I made myself some soup and tea to warm up. It was raining and windy today so it was not a pleasant walk to the bus and from the bus to my flat! It was nice to have some warm things to eat and drink when I got back. I have been keeping busy this afternoon getting everything organized! I hadn’t really found places for all my class papers and such so I did that. Then I called my advisor to make sure that the classes I am taking will transfer back as the ones I want them. So far three have been approved; one more and I will be good to go! If that class doesn’t work I do have a backup plan though. There is one class that I could switch in and be with a few other ISU students. I have a few more things that I need to get done today, but I think I will lay low tonight. I need to get some scholarships filled out and start in on this 550 page book so I can return it in a week when it is due! haha
