Today was a fun day. We had our first meeting with the FIE people (they are in charge of our class while we are here). We got some information about what we will be doing in the next couple weeks and also got our Oyster cards so we can travel the tube and train without having to buy day passes.
We went on a walking tour around the Kensington park area today which was really exciting. We walked all around the Imperial College and got to see the Kensington Palace along with some monuments and parks made by Kings. It was a great photo opportunity. We also walked down Kensington Heights street and saw lots of shops and such that we might have to stop in and see at some point.
Tonight we went out to dinner with the FIE people. They took us out to this great restaurant called The Prince Regents. It was pretty fancy so I don’t think I will be paying to go there myself! I had some duck and sweet potatoes and we had panacotta for desert! It was good to try something new! We also went to a club tonight! But I will post some pictures tomorrow so stay tuned!

Can't wait to see some pictures:) Am down to Scott's - taking G'ma Kleve tomorrow for her other foot surgery - everything should go well:) I let her read what you have written so far and she is very excited for you. Can;t believe you tried duck - she used to burn duck when G'pa wanted it. Something about timing I guess:)Take Care and will check back with you on the pictures when I can get to a computer:)
