Ok, so I'm a few days late! Honestly the house was a bit of a mess. It took me the entire day today to get it cleaned (plus do the laundry and the dishes). So now without further ado, here are some current house pictures.

 Here is a view of the kitchen. It got a new coat of a fun green paint, and the cabinets got some white paint and new knobs.

 Here is another shot of the kitchen and dining area. The dining area has a new light and you can see the new 'wood' blinds that are on all the windows. The table was a purchase when I bought the house ($25 from Target!). The chairs are still a work in progress. Hopefully, I will get them done this summer. Still to go in the kitchen: A new light for the kitchen, new floors, and hopefully some stainless appliances.

 Here is a view of the office. This is one of two rooms that hasn't been painted. Here you can see my desk, which got a coat of grey paint. The dresser to the left was a craigslist buy. It got sanded down and refinished with a fun red color. John and I built the wine rack that sits atop the wine fridge in the corner. I got that wine fridge from my friend Amanda who came to stay with me for a week :). This room is the nod to my travels. It has pictures from my study abroad travel.

Here you can see the big new light in the office. You can also see the sheer curtains and the cute coat rack.

Next is the entryway. It got a coat of grey paint, a cute storage shelf, and some square shelves. They get a new fabric or fun printed paper every once in a while to keep things fresh.

On to the living room. Here is the view facing the kitchen. We have our new entertainment system with shelves of family and friend pictures as well as other trinkets. The living room got a coat of grey paint as well.

 The other side of the room has seen a lot of changes. The biggest change was the wall art. This was a shower curtain that I stretched to look like a large canvas. The jungle Christmas couch got a new cover. The large distressed mirror on the wall was the mirror we pulled off the master bathroom wall. Still to do in the living room is the same floor that will be in the kitchen (we are hoping to do laminate hardwoods in the entire living area and only leaving carpet in the bedrooms). I want to create a big C to put above the TV. It also may be time for a shower curtain refresh :)

Next up is the guest bedroom. It got new paint and new bedding. I also found some on sale wall art at Target to change things up.

The guest bathroom also got some paint. The vanity got some paint and new handles. The mirror got pulled off the wall and given a new frame.

This is our second bedroom. This is John's room. not much has changed in it other than adding his things.

 The biggest purchase for John's room was this safe. We had a lot of fun getting this in the closet. Let's hope this can get sold with the house so we don't have to move it again!

The master bedroom also got a coat of paint. It got new bedding and some fun homemade wall art. When John moved in we also added a TV and a cute little stand for it. 

Recently I got this blue dresser on craigslist. It was dark brown, a bit battered and had some some awesome gold knobs. I will show more pictures of this project soon. You can also see a grey dresser in this picture. This is John's dresser. It has some gold knobs as well, but is still awaiting new knobs.

 Lastly, the master bathroom. Here is a shot of the new paint and shower curtain that isn't quite as frilly as the original.

Here you can see the vanity has some new paint, there are new mirrors, new fixtures and new lights.
