On our travels to Venice we met one guy from Finland and one from France. Both were a lot of fun and we were excited to meet some new people. Venice is an amazing city! The entire time I felt like we were on a movie set or in a fairy tale or something. Everystreet there were so many pictures to take. I could not get enough. It was definatley the city to get lost in. We had a couple really great Italian meals which was nice and had lots of gelato(ice cream). We wandered lots of little shps and litterally go lost in the city. It was so much fun! Our second day in Venice we decided to make it a late start. When we finally got into the city we took a very romantical gondola ride! haha It was very entertaining for Karl to be floating the city with 4 girls in his gondola. The gondola man was singing to us and everything. He said it was really cheesy. I thought it was cute! After the gondola ride we went toward San Marco Basillica. We had to walk through a square of pigeons which was interesting because Lisa is scared of them. She made it through ok and the rest of us even fed them along the way. We gazed at the ceiling in the basilica for a long time before heading to find Hard Rock for Megan so she could buy her pin. After that we had some supper and then headed back to the hostel for the night. We met a really funny Italian man on the way back who we ended up singing to because we had been singing on the bus for about 5 minutes before he got on. It was fun to meet real people from the city. The next day we missed our train to Florence because the time changed over here and we didn remember that it was diferent here than in the states. We ended up taking another one and it was all ok!
