So I've been on a blue kick lately. I'll admit it, I'm kind of addicted. Needless to say, you shouldn't be surprised that I added more blue in my house. First, it was to replace the orange pillows on my bed. They were a great cheap option, but were ready for a refresh. I have been eyeing this fabric at JoAnn's trying to give myself and excuse to buy it, but couldn't think of a home for it. Finally, it clicked and now this printed linen is mine :) Below is the before and after of the pillows.
That wasn't the only transformation in the master this weekend. I couldn't get rid of the orange pillows without getting rid of the orange and yellow wall art. This wall art was looking pretty lonely since it was now the only orange or yellow in the space. Lucky for me I had lots of blue options when it came to paint. I also had a couple grays and some white from the trim of the shed. I painted a base coat of gray and then painstakingly painted little circles over where they were originally (since they were still raised up from the solo cup fun I had originally). Below is what it turned out to be!
If you forgot what it looked like before check out the picture below. I like the layer on layer of blue and gray, but now I need a pop of color. We will see what I come up with :)
