What happens when I have extra spray paint

 I have been sitting on some extra spray paint for a while now. It is the paint I used to change all the knobs from gold to brushed nickle. I knew I would eventually find a purpose for it, so it was hanging out in the garage until last weekend. I got a new lamp shade for the lamp by my bed and thought it was time for the base to get a refresh as well. Below is the before picture. I covered the parts that were plastic with tape so I could spray like crazy.

After 3 thin coats of paint I was left this this! It now matches the shade a bit better and gives a little shake up to the master bedroom. More pictures of this weekends projects to come :)
