Since I finally got all the furniture out of the guest bedroom, it was time to put something more furniture in there. Namely, the box spring from our master bedroom. I wanted to try the bed without it with the new frame making it so tall. Here is the new height of the bed without the box spring.
This is a much more reasonable height than this.
It doesn't seem to have effected the comfort of the bed. It also makes it a lot easier to reach the nightstands. I will probably try it for another week or so, but I think this change will stick.
