7 day ultrasound

Last night (early this morning at 3am) the kiddos had their second head ultrasound. John and I were staying in a sleep room, so we came down to see how it would go.

Fin enjoyed his again. The initial read from the tech was that it looked the same as before. It was the same tech that had done the previous ultrasound, so she knew what to look for.

Maggie enjoyed it as well, but after it was done she was real mad. Apparently her massage wasn't long enough, or maybe she didn't like her gelled hair-do after the tech left. Her's still looked the same as well. We will wait to get the official word from the doctor today, but hooray for good initial reads!

Overnight, Maggie only had 1 Brady episode. She is adjusting well to being on c-pap. Fin had 5-6 episodes. He must be a little more stubborn and resistant to change. It took him longer to adjust to feedings (his little belly is looking better now after the change yesterday) and now to ventilator changes :).

Today, they will do 'Family Rounds' starting at 2pm. This is where your babies entire team of caregivers come together to talk through how things have been going and what the goals are for the next week. I am excited to hear how this goes! We get to have all of them at once to ask questions :)
