Is there such a thing as an umbrella that is too big? Yes, yes there is. When I bought this umbrella cover, I knew it was too big for my frame. I thought I would try it to see if it worked... turns out it didn't. The frame slipped out of the ends constantly. It was pretty annoying. So, I brought it in and used some of my scrap fabric to extend the pockets that the frame fits into. The umbrella was a foot too big so each extended pocket is 6 inches long. Now the umbrella actually fits on the framework. It is waayyy too hot outside to actually use it, but at least I know its ready to go for the next day it's not 110 outside!
